Office Building in Orense
Xunta de Galicia planned to establish in Orense a work centre for a large number of employees with different areas and positions. The urban planning foresee a big Plaza flanked by two residential buildings and the new Office Building as a background.
The aims of the project are to define this background on continuity with the new buildings in consonance with the large scale of the necessary volume and creating a versatile office system due to the need of constant changes of the institution.
Following these criteria, the proposal emerges as a slender autonomous volume, solving the variations of height of the street, guaranteeing the accessibility, and the permeability towards the urban square.
